HypochlorUSA’s HYPOGEN system is an On-Site Hypochlorous Acid Generator. This standalone on-site generator is produces an all-natural, organic, non-toxic, non-irritant, environmentally and ecologically safe disinfecting solution, that requires no PPE equipment or double-containment storage.
Hypochlorous Acid is a hospital-grade disinfectant which works to reduce 99.9% of bacteria. The solution is comprised of natural ingredients: water, salt, and vinegar. When combined with electricity, the chemical compounds combine to create hypochlorous acid, a disinfectant as strong as bleach but without the harmful side affects, supply and demand issues, or inflated price tag.
Hypochlorous Acid, or HOCL, is a non-toxic, EPA, FDA, and USDA approved solution capable of being dispersed by electrostatic foggers, backpack spray units, or spray bottles. It can be used to disinfect or be dispensed at hygiene stations as a hand sanitizer.
This solution is not alcohol based, therefore when used as a hand sanitizer, is safer than any alcohol based product.
When sprayed or fogged, the solution seeks out germs in the air and on hard and soft surfaces. It enters the membranes of the germ cells and fills it with disinfectant solution until the cell explodes.
Hypochlorous Acid eliminates the need to purchase all other chemicals to clean, sanitize or disinfect.
HOCL is safe for uses on wood, vinyl, sealed granite, tile, fabric, rubber, glass, stainless steel, laminate, plastic, and any other high-touch surface. We don’t recommend fogging an area that contains unsealed stone surfaces.
The HYPOGEN system which produces the HOCL on-site, on-demand, is most commonly installed for use in schools, large office settings, agricultural plants, or distribution centers but is able to be used in locker rooms, shower areas, commercial restrooms, residential and commercial pool decks and and other wet-tolerant areas as well.
